The Bird Bank News serves as a general clearinghouse for the world of aviculture.
The focus is much broader than the Poultry Press going into game birds, cage birds, and related topics. It is a well put together newsletter and carries timely information. It is a nice publication. Issue X includes articles on the APA/ABA Youth Program, information on the Avian Information Management (AIM) company, congressional review of the Wild Bird Conservation Act., propogation opportunities for endangered Quail, results of the Attwaters Praire Chicken Project, proposed rules that assess danger of exotics to Oregon wildlife, A new center to develop parrot conservation techniques, fossil links between dinosaurs and birds, Zoos working together to re-introduce endagered Siberian Cranes, wayward homing pigeons bring two flyers together, African Parrot breeders' needed in informal hand-rearing study, and many others.
