Thats cool "Bad Sam" (Like the handle) Wasn`t demeaning all the Dutch from there. Just the ones that look like OEG. I could add a lot of other states too. Bought a trio of Blacks from Washington state and you could see the OEG in them. Bought a couple of Black cocks from Arkansas that have OEG and Black rosecomb in them. Have raised about 8 generations of blues and blacks and the OEG still shows up more times than not. Finally raised 1 black cockerel with decent Dutch type last summer. Decent not good. I`m not condeming anyone for using OEG. Just don`t call it a Dutch until you have the type set where it will breed true for "DUTCH" type. And am not sure that can ever be done using OEG. Rog
