I have an 11 week old Barred Rock Pullet that is wheezing. Every once in a while she makes this noise like someone is trying to strangle a cat. Her crop is empty. I shined a flashlight down her throat to see if she had something stuck down there. I saw her airway and passage to her crop and everything is clear. She is somewhat lethargic. No crusties in her eyes, nose or ears and no signs of vent yuckies either. It has rained and been below 40' here everyday for two weeks. It even got down to 24' the night before last. I brought her in the house and that seemed to help her a little. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do, or what might be wrong? Thanks in advance for replies!!

I haven't had to deal with this myself, but it has been discussed recently. The similarity is rain. Look down the page for "sneezing chickens" and "resriratory problem in my chickens." Good luck
