Some of my young chickens seem to be having diarrhea a lot, though they show no other signs of being sick. I think it may just be that they're a little stressed or aren't getting enough grit, but I wanted to check with others to be sure it's not a symptom of something I should be more concerned about.

Zuzy,

If they start showing blood in the feces, you should start to worry. Chickens do not have a urinary bladder. In order to get rid of extra water, they will produce runny feces. If they are eating food that contains a lot of water, they will produce runny feces.

Alright, I supposed as much. They just seemed to be having more of it than they used to, and more than our older chickens had so I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
