okay, one of our hens, a black star, is bald, on her back end. she is a happy chicken, but her oil bland is torn off and her feathers have no oil. i looked at her yesterday and she has green spots on the exposed skin, it almost looks like mold. what should i do with her?

our cornish hen looks like she has been stung on her eye by a bee or something. her eye socket really, it is poofed up and she can bairly see out of that eye. the eye it self isnt damaged, and she can breath, but i have no clue what to do. i have gotten a cold pad and held it on the eye a few times.

any help would be greatly appreciated

The little knob thing that sticks out infront of the tail (if you move the saddles and feathers out of the way) is where the oil sorta comes out from. The gland is inside the bird underneatht hat. Are you sure that she doesnt have that little knob sticking out? It looks like the tip of a worm.

She may be in with too many rooster or one aggressive/active rooster who tears out her back feathers when trying to mate. Keep her on her own for a bit.
