I have a light orange hen( can't remember her breed) and she laid 2 eggs in 20 minutes!! How is this possible!? And I no it was her cause my leghorn got up in her nest n pushed her out ant here was no eggs then the leg laid n egg then I fed them but she came back in and got in the nest, I sat there for 20 min and when she moved there was 2 eggs!! Is this even possible?

If indeed, she DID lay 2 eggs, one was finished and "hung up" from the day before, and mercifully was able to pass through the canal ahead of the next one. It takes about 25 hours for an egg to be "put together", so impossible to have 2 separate eggs develop at the same time--if they "do". it would be a double yolker, not 2 completed eggs. Not to worry, she will get back on schedule....Good luck, CJR

What! 2 eggs in 20 minutes! Its great hear such a news. This is a really nice news. We are glad that you have shared this with us, nice.
