I had a pair of the blue variety for a few months raised from chicks. They did well, I quite appreciate the lack of comb. However, I am not a fan of feathered legs nor vulture hocks so we sold them.

East European crested breeds are their ancients, something like Pavlovas. V-comb and crest disappeared by selection.

I like them just trying to find out why some of the chicks have not got the leg feathering. No chance of mixed breeding on my end. So was wondering why chicks are coming out some of them with no feathers on legs.
