Christmas/Seasonal Greetings to all and good luck with your breeding programmes in 2018.
This year I shall be hatching some more Silver Duckwing Welsummers and also putting a spare Appenzeller Cockerel to some Dominique Hens to produce a bunch of black production pullets for sale within the local community.

Greetings to you too. Could you hatch one cockerel after an s+ red Welsummer hen? I'm SO CURIOUS what color of leakage would be on the breast of an s+/S Welsummer cock.

Unfortunately I don't have any Red Welsummer and because of the remote location in which I live it would be unlikely that I could obtain one. My sole method,of getting new stock is via hatching eggs from eBay or pressurising some visitor to bring eggs or fowl up with them. Five years ago a friend of mine brought up two Columbian Wyandotte cockerels free ranging in the back of his Ute. But such things are rare.
So I'm afraid your query will have to remain unanswered for the time being.
