Photobucket has "softened" their conditions , I just payed 5 dollars per month for the first 6 month. I hope it will work but I still can't see my pictures.

Good to see you are still here CJR, and Sonoran Silkies.

I can see your pic Wieslaw.

Redcap posted some scans from Serebrowsky's publications.
Some problems with English translations, plus that Serebrowsky used unique mutation symbols.

Here's the 2012 paper celebrating his 120 yr anniversary. Got a few Orloff colour plates.

I hope you are doing well with this Pandemic going on. Do any of you know if the Coronavirus can be transmitted from Human to fowl?

I noticed a big difference in the shanks of some large fowl Ameraucana black chicks. The more solid color is normal, but at least two chicks had the light/dark pattern. I created these decades ago and never had a barred or truly/fully mottled bird show up, although some adult birds have shown some very small white spots/specks. Is this patterned shank an indication of a mottle/mottling gene? That is my best guess.

Maybe everyone is on vacation or they just don't have the answer. Maybe this will help. Here is a photo of the wing of one of my hens, with what I think is mottling. Is it? If so then maybe it is the cause of the light/dark shank pattern on the chicks.
