I had chickens as a child, and am just now getting back into the poultry scene. I have 25 mixed breed chicks, 1 month old. They appear to be fully feathered. I wuold like to move them out to a stall in the barn so they can have more space, but worry that nighttime temps here can still drop down into the low 40s. Would they do alright with a heat lamp in the stall or space heater nearby?

hard to see with your setup.
most important is no drafts or it can wipe them all out.
watch for fire.. but try it and the first night go out about midnight and check to see that they are not peeping about the cold.
if you get a cold wave then they can come inside

I think the move with the lamp should be ok. Like incubator said though, no drafts.
