This subject has been addressed before, but I don't remember the details of what to do. If there is a search funtion in this new setup, I don't know where it is.
I have a Brahma rooster who has been pecked around his rump. Obviously, the condition will only get worse if I don't do something. What can I put on his rump to stop this?? Segregating him is a possibility, but that would mean the work of setting it up, along w/ the problems I have read about regarding re-introduction to the flock.

The search function is at the top of the page here, next to my profile and register. You can dab his backside with pine tar to stop the picking. Put it on generously where the picking occurred, and where any shafts are visible that may be attractive to the others.
