This may be a simple question.

The attached links show a bantam cochin hen bred out of wheatons. She is much darker, with clear, almost silver looking stippling throughout. There were a number of these produced out of wheaton parents. The owner confirmed that the wheaton chicks are nearly white, while these hatch "like partridge, but a bit different." I could not find out if they had the dark heads that would be indicative of brown, or what the ratio of these to normal wheaton chicks is.

What is at work here?

They look like het eWh/eb to me.
