I put 4 duck eggs under a hen last eve. That is all the duck eggs I had access to. Soon I plan to add a dozen or so hen eggs. If I remember correctly the hen eggs should be added 7 days latter. Is this correct?
Should I expect any problems, hatching or after they hatch?

Not for my hen! Baby ducks have different requirements from the chicks. The mother hen can handle one or the other, but I wouldn't expect good results from the mix (unless you plan to raise, either the ducklings OR the chicks separately)--then she could hatch them successfully. Yes, ducks 28days, except Muscovy ducks, 33-35 days. Good luck, with this one! CJR
