I took one of these water weasels and used a human digital thermometer to read the temp inside the weasel. It read 96.4. I used another human digital thermometer and it read 95.8. (oof!)
Does anyone know if I should compensate for the type of thermometer in this situation?
See, at the same time, the analog thermometer that came with my 'bator is reading 103 on top of the eggs...
I believe I need to bring the temp inside the weasel up to 99.5, and thus the reading on the analog will be around 106. That number scares me! Or should the fact that they are human digital thermometers somehow be compensated, and so they should read lower, like 98 or (?), or something?
Anyone?
I dont want to bake my eggs by ignoring one thermometer...
