HI are they standard or bantam. They are very rare in good quality.Wyandottes in general are nice birds they lay good depends on the strain. They are calm and most are very gentle some may be skidish. I think the columbian is one of the nicest variteies of wyandottes. I will be starting to breed standard white wyandottes this year for show and I might try to make some columbians of my own. Hope it helps

Thanks they are bantam and because I got them late in season they didn't lay many eggs, when should I be expecting them?

Hi the bantams should start to lay depending on where you live April or May with out light but with light they could lay in almost any month depending on how old they are to. Nice to see some body breeding them. The standards are almost extinct in Canada and the bantams are not that frequent. You have a real treat!

Thanks for the information I had no idea that they were that rare I would like to get a good flock of them and show and sell some. The guy I got them from had quite a lot of them.
