This is a pretty old thread but I would like to take this opportunity to update it a bit.
There are several pictures of Martin Silverudd races on the link:

There are pictures of all those breeds that still exist in Sweden

cyberdave, The Ac chicken of Vietnam, the Ayam Cemani of Indonesia and the Ogye of Korea also have the black skin, meat and bones as do silkies and the Swedish Black Hens. I have never heard or read of anyone actually having these none silkie black skinned breeds that I listed in the US

There are birds like this in Canada. They come from the Pacific Islands and from southern Chile.

I don't know. I tried a few folks I know, and they either don't ship or can't ship.

There is also a blue egg chicken in China, the Dongxiang, with black skin, muscle, and bone. The Araucana Club's latest newsletter has an article and pictures of it. They have probably been around since they came off Noah's ark, but most people don't prefer black meat, hence their lack of popularity, at least in this country.

The black skinned, black fleshed breeds have a place in Chinese/Asian medicine. As well as blue eggs from the Dongxiang, a friend of mine has a strain of blue egg laying Silkies. They have laid blue eggs since he had them, for over 60 years.
Araucanas were not introduced here until the mid 70s

Blue or green eggs can be introduced to any kind of chicken since O, the dominant gene responsible for blue pigment in the eggshell, is dominant. A simple cross and backcross followed by selection for shell coloration and whatever other characteristics are desired should do the trick.
This is why I believe talk about an "original" araucana is nonsense.
