I was told to feed bob whites 30% game feed or supplement a poultry layer feed with chopped eggs.
Is this true?

I was told to put a water additive in their water once a week to prevent intestinal upsets. Is this true?

and lastly, IS there a site on Raising and Keeping quail? I have been unable to locate one.

Leland Hayes web site for gamebirds. Dont know address. I know they need a higher protein but I am feeding my coturnix on layer pels + eggs. A lot of guys here feed their bobwhites turkey grower.

We have Bobwhites and feed Game bird breed with not problems and once a month add some vitiams to the water. Hope this helps .
