Saw the tubs of baby chicks today at Runnings Farm & Fleet in Brookings, SD today. They had a tub of Easter Egger chicks and the sign said: "Araucana (not for show). Eggs are multi-colored. Eggs can be white, red, brown or black.

LOL! I would really like to have some hens that lay black eggs.

I also went to farm-fleet today to pick up seed for our market garden .To much of a hurry to look at the black egg layers ,but I did pick up 100# of layer 16 for$12.30.
