Let us do assault on the world records .Does anyone have chickens of any breed or cross breed that can beat the exisiting world records .
any chicken that has longer than 36 feet 4 inches tail feathers, or weighs more than 23 pounds ,or taller than 4 feet high, eek or lays more than 11 eggs in 7 days , or lays eggs that weigh more than 5 ounces each . Check the "Guinness book of World records " for the latest records .

Yeah I got one of each of them. LOL doubt it. That is incredible 36 feet 4 inches. Bet that was in Japan.
What breed weighed more than 23 lbs? And I guess it must have been an oriental that was over 4 feet tall???

ALL I want are 14 pounds light brahmas that are good egg layers..thats all (too bad the only brahma I have is a roo and a half blood little yellow chick).....

Sounds a bit like a fisherman's tale. "It was 4ft 1⅝ inches. It's True! It's really true!!!"...Does a chicken with blue legs and white toes qualify?.....LOL

Hello,

4 feet tall, sure;-) Was this an individual or a breed? Also, when was this, 1800-something or nowadays?

Our Guiness Book is rather old and i didnīt find this part, neither did i find the feather-lenght-part, strange. Seems like we have a different version over here, can someone please scan the refering page in and share it in this thread eventually?
