When my silkies are older can they share a coop with my RIR's, leghorns, ect? or are they just too big for silkies?

You may find that as Silkies are smaller and look different, they will get pecked no matter how old they are. If your coop is big enough for them to run away, you shouldn't go to extra lengths to house them in a different area. But attacking goes on all the time, so if the coop is big enough, put them in together.

Chickens are like my neighbours: they don't like anyone different. I'd keep the silkies separated.

Unless you have a silkie roo ... he does not know that he is small... he'll take on a rhode island junior cock anytime smile
