Hi! I would appreciate any help you can give in helping me confirm the breeds I have. My order was added to and some were missing altogether. I am very curious to know what the big white with brown feathers are. I think they are all roosters. Would they make good eating chickens?
Thanks. I appreciate the help. Oh, my order was for white and brown leghorn, aracauna (easter egg layers) and black star.

The second one looks like a Rhode Island Red, but it's a little blurry.

What color feet does the white bird have, are they the usual yellow? If the birds have gold in their hackle, they are probably the Black Stars, the Aracauna is just an Easter-egger and the first picture looks like a mix of either Delaware or Light Brahma, but I don't see any feathers on it's feet so it may be an even bigger mix! It looks to me like the white bird is a rooster!

The white one (with touches of brown)has yellow legs like the leghorns do. The black, aracauna and the "mystery" rooster all have the moss green legs.

I can't see the "mystery" rooster's head, but he appears to have willow-green legs. If he has a beard and muffs, more than likely he's an Easter Egger. The Black Stars should have some orange striping in their hackle feathers.

I have a few Easter Eggers who look just like the white one with the black feathers.

Rich, thank you very much. That makes sense. Can you please send me an email and tell me what a pile leghorn is?

I bred red pyle Legs and that one(4) doesnt resemble them . A pyle is a bb red with the bleck made white, basically.

i totally agree Rob. they look to me to be red stars and easter eggers. the black ones are black stars
the white males with red are a sex link cross. definatly not pyle leghorns. they are clearly a heavy breed chicken. the red pullet is a hatchery rhode island red. definatly not a brown leghorn the females are a totally different color.
