Yes and no. Andrew is correct that the white stuff is urate salts however to urinate would indicate a liquid excretion which chickens do not do. The difference becomes important when it comes to the chickens ability to flush its system. Thatís why too much salt or other electrolytes can become a poison in a chickens body.

well i saw one of my hens squert out a clear liquid with little white bits in it. does anyone know what this was

I think Pierre is headed for this but chickens will squirt water out the vent when they drink a large amount such as when they are trying to keep cool.
