This Cream Light Brown "Swaver" pullet has very good body feather color, but it is almost impossible to get in a photo. This was taken in the morning, without flash, but not in the sun. There are several more pictures of this pullet taken at the same time in slightly different lighting, none show true feather color.

She has a red head, not yellow, is what is called a Swaver. A "Swaver" is a CLB with a LB parent, grandparent or gr grandparent. These are not discards, if they have a feature you need for breeding, but are not usually an exhibition CLB. You can barely see the darker feathers at the body edge of the wing fold: Swaver!

Hatched just one of her eggs, hoping for a pullet (it is!) with her body color and the yellow head of the sire, but little chance for the yellow head for at least another generation. CJR
