Im sorry, but I am not familiar with dutch bantams but what is the reall difference in the two?

bugly, About the only thing the same about the two breeds of bantams is that they are: 1. small 2. single comb 3. clean legged.

After that, all is different--or should be. Did you look at Ken's website? Do those birds look anything like an OEGB? Not at all.

The OEGB breeders have been "lifting" some of the more attractive features of the Dutch and adding them to the OEGB, so that many no longer look like its namesake in England and other countries. And some Dutch breeders have "lifted" varieties from the OEGB that were not found in Dutch. That is a questionable practice, as it can make both breeds hybrids!

Should not be a wager between the two breeds, as they are just different, and the OEGB is the most popular breed of Bantam in the U.S.-wouldn't wish to change that! CJR
