Click on my name (Shoofly) and then at the top right of the page in small writing, look for "send private message". That should work just fine and I will give you my e-mail address there so we can swap photos!

I'll get a pic in the morning. But his eye looked much better. Ive been using regular household antibiotic cream. Now I have the animal version. Now the poor fellow is limping. I'll send you a pic tomorrow.

We were doing great--her eye was looking like an eye again--and then suddenly, yesterday morning, it was back to looking white and runny again. This poor bird. I am just so baffled! Anyway, look forward to seeing pics....

You know, I forgot to ask! I have another appointment though in a week...We were doing really well, and then took another turn for the worse...not really sure what is going to happen with this poor bird! I will be sure to ask next time.....

Hey there--

Eyeball is getting better every day. Had a follow up visit yesterday and the vet said we were on the mend---the only problem is that part of the bird's iris is still protruding out of the eye. We are hoping that this comes off on its own as it makes her eyelid bulge out. BUT, she can close her eye, so that is great. Its a shame she lost her sight, but she is doing really well. I am hoping we have turned the corner.....How bout you?

I beieve they were waiting to hear what type of bacteria the bird was affected by. You stated you would remember to ask on your follow-up visit.
