How old should chickens be before you start showing them? I have heard about 6 months, but can they be 5 months? I have some Cochin bantam chicks that hatched this month, and the fair is in August. Can I still show them?

I guess it all depends on how "matured" they look at 5 months old.

Here's a link from The Poultry Connection that might help answer your question. The author asks the same question.
