I have two of my Brahma cockerels that I held back that I thought might be helpful to Cochin breeders. From fairly early on a couple of these males just always gave me a Cochiny vibe. They did not have the upright stance or length of leg of a Brahma. Obviously the comb is wrong and the feather a bit tight, but I think there is material to work with here. Twenty some years ago these birds started with Roland Doer silver laced Cochins. Over the years Cornish and Brahma blood was added. If anyone is looking for some outcross blood that will likely put some size on your birds, you would have a difficult time getting any outer than this.
