Hey there--I just posted about possibly buying some legbar eggs or baby chicks if anyone knows or has some for sale here in the US. Hard to find, but I hope someone has a direction to move in, its very frustrating!!

Thanks so much, Monica

If you breed an araucana roo over California grey hens you might have something close to a legbar.........or you can wait until 2012 DARK EGG has them listed for sale in 2012.

One major requirement of a breed (legbar or any other) is that they breed true. An Araucana roo over a california grey will produce offspring that, interbred, may look like legbars, but will NOT breed true.

You can buy juvenile pairs from greenfirefarms.com. It is up to you to decide if the price is worth it.
