I had the same thing happen to me. I had a Silkie mix rooster, Bela, who was bossed around by the other big roosters. Well, when one rooster was on the hen, Bela would run up and get on top of her right after. Needless to say, I had A LOT of little Silkie mix babies. I still have two of them - they look crazy - half-feathered feet, half-crests, one has 5 toes and the other has a partially straight comb. I sold Bela but his legacy lives on through his daughters.
