My two and a half week old chick has poopy butt. What can I do to make it not watery. Is there any hope.
I think it must be too cold or something is wrong with it's food. Soak the butt in fairly warm water and massage the pop away. Then dry the chick, give it proper chick food and put it in warm and NON DRAFTY environment. Sometime these darn things just happen by accident, so don't get too concerned with this if that's your only chick with this problem. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. - Aram
Dab a little baby oil on it's bottom after you get it cleaned to prevent the poop from sticking to the fuzz around it.
Diarreah. second to have it. should have been more specific. it eats starter feed. along with the rest. I am going to feed store to get more feed. I marked his toe nails with purple finger nail polish so I could tell him apart and watch him closely
