Sorry to offend anyone but I am suprised how lame this part of the forum is. Look at all the postings here with little or NO response.
That place on the Coop classroom is for Rock fanciers, and that is a much smaller group than people generally interested in poultry. Many people rarely go to the specialty club places because they don't raise that breed, don't show, or just figure that's for high-powered experts. If people don't use the "new" function at the left to check messages, they would never know anything was there. Lots of folks just check certain categories and let the rest go. You could post questions you have at the Rock site and in the other appropriate category, too, to attract more attention and more responses.
I have two buff plymouth rocks and they are great! They are good broodys and good layers, but they are also very friendly. I reccomend plymouth rocks to anyone.
I cant beleive that there are not more people out there with information to share. In other parts of the forum I get several good and immediate answers to all of my questions. I would have thought there were more Barred Rock Enthusiasts out there (maybe we are all just wanna be Rock owners?).
