I was just wondering whether it is only barred rocks that are easily sexed by feather colouring, only I am going to get buff rocks. Is there a relatively asy way of sexing these too?
If you breed a barred rock hen and a rhode island rooster, one sex will have a white dot on its head and the other will not. However, plain barred rocks can not be feather sexed.
