Asprin for chickens

When I used to have pit games I would give Asprin tablets to injured birds and never noticed ill effects. It seemed to help many times. I wonder if antone else has tried this. I have given really big ones to horses also.

I just came across an article on this subject. 25 grains or 325 mg per gal.water.
