It is true, they make great laying birds. They also lay well in cold weather. You can grab that ugly bare neck in the middle of the winter and it will be warm to the touch.

Does anyone out there raise nacked necks? A person that I used to sell eggs to got her own flock of nacked necks and said they lay exceptionaly well. Is that true? They are horrible ugly creatures that resemble a turkey-vulture cross (no offense to those who do raise this breed). Any info would be very interesting!

I like them because they are so ridiculous. They also come in lots of colors and are just hilarious as little chicks.
