Does anyone know where i could find individual histories and pictures of ALL chickens typically used for show. I need pictures that are "correct" for each breed. I need them for a project due in August, and thought i'd ask in advance.Any help would be much appreciated.
Hen, The Feathersite is the best place for an Encyclopedia of chickens.... You can e-mail Barry there. But, I doubt seriously if anyone will provide you with such a wide ranging set of pictures or photographs.... it is a lot of work and people need to make a living... but, if you can pay royalties, that would be a different story.
P.S. another source for what you are asking is the Americal Poultry Association's American Standard of Perfection. In that book ($50) you will find pictures of almost every breed (but not all). But again, you will have to negotiate with them for the right to reproduce their pictures for your purposes. It could be expensive.
Thanks

Please contact Barry at Feathersite (put Feathersite in your search engine) and see what he says.
Good luck, but I am very very very skeptical.
