We are thinking about raising quail this summer-for both meat and eggs. Any idea what kind we should be looking for? Also, any tips on care and raising would be appreciated. Mina
Try Coturnix Quail... They are mature at 8 weeks and are very easy to raise. How many are you going to raise ?
We're not sure yet. I still need to do some more research on how much room they need, and how their basic care will differ from my poultry. We are looking at starting with 100 or so, probably. Any ideas on how many square feet I need to allow for these birds? They will not be raised to release. Thanks Mina
