I'm building an aviary for a pair of peafowl, which I do not yet have. It will be about 30'x30'. The top will be about 10' to 15' high amd covered with a net with 2" holes. The sides are covered with what we call "turkey wire", a welded wire net with 1"x2" holes. It will contain an open shed, a large open area of sand, an area of stones and rocks, several bushes and a few large branches, and a space of about 15'x8' which is a crawl space under a deck (about 30" high). I'd like to keep one or two additional species of hardy birds that might be compatable. Does anyone have experience and advice? Thanks, Jerry
Jerry, With good shrub cover in edges, some of the pheasants would be beautiful--or even ornamental Bantams, CJR
