Doe's anyone have the experience of using millet as
a ground cover for pasture cages in high humidity areas.

There are several varieties of millet. I grow spray millet for my canaries. The seeds are small. As the millet i know of grows 2-4 ft. tall before seeding it would not make too good a ground cover. I would think any perennial ryegrass with dutch clover would work.Is the humidity always high?Sprouted oats and other small grains make excellent feed and are easily sprouted.

Robbpa. Thankyou for your input I, like the Idea of
using the sprouted oats etc.

Kholant,, Sprouts are good but dont let them get moldy and you could rinse them in cool water before feeding.Feed them some whole dry oats also. We feel it gives the birds a nice feather and firmness to the body.

Robbpa , Once again thanks. By the way we have about
