I went to a flea market and they sell animals and a vendor had some "Brown Mallard Ducklings" Is there a such breed of ducks called "Brown Mallards"?

I believe the vendor must have been talking about what are called "gray Mallards". The female is brown, but the male is primarily gray, black, with brown on his chest.
