Does anyone know where Canada Geese eggs may be purchased for hatching?
Is it legal to own Canada geese? I thought they were migratory birds and therefore protected...
Lisa, It is not legal to to capture or trap wild Canada Geese (or wild native birds of any species). But there are hatcheries that sell birds and/or eggs. You may be required to obtain a permit to own these and a call to your U.S. Fish, Wildlife and/or state Fish, Wildlife will get you this information and the permit, if required. CJR
Cool!

When I was growing up in Indiana we always had a few wild one that would winter on our farm and eat handouts instead of flying south.
Do you have the names of the hatcheries who do sell them 'cause I would be interested in some too!
