My goose has been sitting on her nest for about 2 weeks and I never see her coming out to drink, swim or eat. Do I need to provide food/water close to her nest or should I leave her alone?

Zeddie: Don't worry unnecessarily about your setting goose. She is probably coming off her nest when you are not around to eat, drink & swim, etc. If she is not, she could not have survived without doing so. As long as all of this is provided, she will take care of her self. I would leave her alone, undisturbed. Good luck....Red Tail Chicken Hawk......

She's fine just let her be, she'll come off the nest once a day to eat and drink then go back it takes but if there is no ganders around take the eggs and get ride of them!
