What is the process of Pollorum-Typhoid testing? Who and how do you do it?
Kate, Do you have a County Agent? If they can't help you find a tester, call your Dept. of Livestock for your State and the State Vet can arrange it. Sometimes they come and do it on request; sometimes there is a fee, sometimes not. It is done by pricking the vein under the wing, and placing a drop of blood on a warmed glass with Antigen on it. The reading only takes a few seconds and 2 people can do a number of birds in a short time. CJR
