I have a black sex-link hen that is losing the feathers on her head. I have a total of 10 hens and 2 rooster. None of the others have feathers missing on their head. Could the roosters be pulling her feathers out?

Penny, Yes, sometimes the roosters have a favorite hen, and held by her head feathers, may suffer complete loss of plumage on the head. But do check her for mites or feather mites, altho, if she is the only one involved, it is probably the roosters==but parasites start with one bird, so watch them all. CJR

Penny,
My Black Sex Links are the same way. My roo is very aggresive and will not tolerate a "hard to get" attitude. The birds that are more willing are not treated with a head clamp during his business.
