Is it alright to give my chickens extra things? I dont mean like veggies for they get that out of the garden . I mean like I was trimming out a pork loin in to pork chops and I cooked up what was left over some fat some meat. Was and is this ok to give them?

my birds get alot of "goodies" like that. they absolutely go ga-ga over some really weird combinations of table scraps. i suppose as long as you dont over feed them it's ok, no one i've talked to so far says to cease feeding leftovers.

My chickens get all of my leftovers. The only thing I don't give them is chicken (that's just too weird) and things with a lot of onions and garlic in them. (I heard it can affect the taste of their eggs.)
