I read somewhere that if you cross a New Hampshire rooster with Silver Laced Wyandotte hens you get Cinnimon Queens, which are supposed to be excellent layers. I was wondering if since the RIR and New Hampshires are so similar if I would get the same result. I don't have a Silver Laced Wyandotte rooster this year, and so I thought I would give it a try. I do have a Golden Laced Wyandotte rooster. What would I get if I ran the Silver Laced hens with him. Would it be a mess? Any input would be appreciated.

we had a wyandotte hen get breed by a brown leghorn and the color is fantastic. We took her to the county fair and got a blue ribbon with her. She is very pretty. And there are 3 more here. ONe rooster and 3 hens. The colors are very similiar to a golden laced. Hope you try your experiment out, fun!
