I have heard they are great layers. They are supposed to be a cross between a New Hampshire rooster and a Silver Laced Wyandotte hen. Wondering if I could get one by using a Rhode Island Red rooster. Any info?

Nope, it wont work. The Cinnamon Queen is a production bird that is a Hybird of the New Hampshire and another, I am not sure if it is the SL Wyandotte though. Whatever it is a cross of will not work the same with the RIR. The hybrid is made by specfic crosses of breeds by a certain order of sex and breed. Only by duplicating that exact order will you acheive the same result. This is for all hybrids available, Cornish Crosses are the same too.

Thanks Jeremy and Birdface. I guess I will just have to see what I get if I cross them. I don't want to start a new breed or anything, just want to experiment with what I already have. I read some where that It was a new Hampshire and SL Wyandotte. I was just curious . Thanks for the responses
