I've been thinking really hard about how White Crested Black Polish got to be WCB Polish. How did the original breeder get the white and the black seperate? Same thing with the White Crested Buff Polish. Surely someone knows. TIA (thanks in advance)

Selective breeding. Selecting favorable traits and crossing with similar desirable traits through many, many matings and generations. The "Standard of Perfection" may have the ancestry in its description of the breed and variety.
