Hi,for free I got a nice little O.E.G bantam cock for free, turns out his color pattern is very rare:brown breasted brown red, this is not standardized in any game in the U.S.A.,but is in Britian as large, not bantam.I really would like to breed it since its so rare, but I never got a female of the same.Does anyone know someone who might have it,if not, could I cross it with similar looking O.E.G. bantam, select the best pullet from thier offspring, and breed that with the original one again, and repeat that about 5-10 times?Anything would be apreciated.

A Brown Red with a brown breast is a fault when you get too much color in the breeding pen. It can also happen if you cross a Black Breasted Red with a Brown Red.

Right, could be a rare game fowl,or a stupid cross.I'm still gonna try to breed him.
