Hello,I have a salmon ameraucana pair, both have poor coloring but I'm 100% sure their ameracana,so don't try convince my thier faverolles. The female is pure and I puchased it a while ago for 10 bucks, only problem is the lack of salmon brown coloring. The male I got for free, his problems are that he's an easter egg chicken, ameraucana in every way except for his muffs wich are absent. His hackles are black striped, another defect.
Is salmon really rare in ameraucanas?I was shocked to find out that it wasn't standardized in Britain or the U.S.A.,not even available in the S.P.P.A..If it really is that rare I'm definatly going to try to breed them.
Note:I'm also tring to create elongated ameraucanas,I already have a female, any tips on that would also be appeciated.
thanks
