I have two very strange looking pullets in my coop.
Don't sound like Sex Links! But they are crosses, possibly with an Ameraucana or Araucana parent. Enjoy. CJR
Thanks for responding Cjeanr. This was my first time on the Coop...
Actually, ameraucanas usually lay turquoise eggs. What you described sounds to me like pure ameraucanas(they come in MANY colors).
Thanks Benny...
they're probably a shamo, i want 1 so bad, does it remind u of a stork? by the way, just e-mail me. by the way- ameraconas lay green eggs!! u have n e idea where i can get some aroucanas?
One is white with red specks here and there, black legs, no combs, and puffy cheek feathers.
One is solid black, with black legs, no combs
I was told they were sex-links.
I have raised and bought chicks for 3 years now and have never seen sex-links like this before.
Any Ideas. I sure could use some help with this.

Do Ameraucana's lay white or brown eggs ? Do you know? Just wondering so I can keep watching for when they lay. They should be about ready to lay.
They are 5 months old.

It will be neat to collect torquoise eggs. I've only had brown ones. This will be easier to see who lays what eggs now. I have such a mix..
Probably another stupid question but,...
What kind of breed is a pure white chicken with real long legs? Normal size combs, etc.
The store said they were sex-link when I bought them.
But I think they are something else.. Maybe a Leghorn?
